Winter in Toronto calls for cozy dates, long dinners, and an excuse to eat your way across the globe, and Winterlicious 2026 delivers all three.

Running from January 30 to February 12, with reservations opening January 15, Winterlicious is one of the city’s most-loved food festivals, inviting couples to explore Toronto’s wildly diverse dining scene through prix-fixe menus at some of the city’s best restaurants.

This year, we’re spotlighting restaurants serving international flavours, perfect for date nights that feel like a mini getaway. Think bold spices, comforting classics, and menus designed for lingering conversations and shared bites.

North America

SugarKane Restaurant

Address: 699 Danforth Ave
Cuisine: Caribbean, Comfort Food, Southern

Warm, welcoming, and deeply comforting, SugarKane brings Caribbean soul food energy to the Danforth. Founded by three sisters with roots in Trinidad and Grenada, the restaurant is a tribute their heritage.
