Date Night At The Golden Sky Bridge

Golden Sky Bridge--4

Welcome To Golden, BC

If you are into adventure dates, this one is for you!

We recently stopped by The Golden Sky Bridge on our way back from a Banff road trip. It seriously blew away our expectations and was an awesome way to spend the afternoon before making the trek home back to Vancouver.

If you are in for a little adrenaline kick than this is definitely going to be a place that you should check out.  When they say walk on air, they really mean you are walking on air. There are two giant suspension bridges located on their trail. The two of them tower over a beautiful canyon with a picturesque waterfall to really transport you into nature. If you have any fear of heights, then you aren’t going to want to know that the the river below you is a measly 426 feet down. Don’t sweat it though because the railings are super high and there aren’t any spaces anyone could squeeze through.

But that's not all!

Not only can you brave the the two towering suspension bridges, The Golden Sky Bridge experience can be so much more! You can also test your skills at the canyon edge challenge course or face your fear of heights on the zipline over the canyon. We highly recommend just doing it all because one you get a killer workout on the challenge course and can cool your sweat flying across the canyon. It’s pretty much a win-win.  Now if that doesn’t kill all of the curiosity than you are just going to have to wait for the giant canyon swing to open! You better believe we are coming back for that one!

Now that you know where you’re stopping on you’re next road trip, which attraction are you going to try first! Check out our reel on @datenightbc to see our first experience and be sure to tag us on the gram when you go #datenightbc
