1. Merry & Bright Patio

4. Gingerbread & Glee

Experience the magic of the holiday season with the annual Gingerbread House Decorating Event held at The Hollis Halifax Hotel by Hilton. This cozy gathering invites everyone of all skill levels to craft a gingerbread house, made by the Bake Theory, with all materials and guided support provided.

5. The Nutcracker

Symphony Nova Scotia’s The Nutcracker returns December 5th at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium. It is one of Halifax’s most joyous traditions that is perfect for families, friends or a festive date!

6. Winter Cookie Decorating Class

Take part in a cozy cookie-decorating class with Blue Bridge Bake Shop and learn how to create the five winter-themed designs shown in the photo!

Tickets include all supplies, along with snacks and drinks to enjoy while you decorate. It’s a fun, festive way to get creative this season!

7. Public Gardens

On a tight budget this holiday season? Don’t worry the Public Gardens, in the heart of Halifax, offer the ideal cost effective date! The park is free to enter and you can take a stroll through the illuminated garden and take in all its magic without the stress of spending a dime.
