These Popular Toronto Food Spots are Making their CNE Vendor Debut

cne

It’s no secret that food has become synonymous with the CNE experience; year after year over 1.6 million visitors flock to The EX to get a taste of some of the culinary concoctions that CNE vendors conjure up.

While the highly anticipated line-up of zany carnival eats remains a well-kept secret for now (trust us, we’ve been checking every day), the CNE is divulging some of the exciting brand new food vendors that you can look forward to this year for your foodie dates!

The 145th edition of the CNE will take place August 16 – September 2, 2024.

FOOD BUILDING

Among the recognizable names that have gained popularity as Toronto hot spots is:

Egg Club

Known for its signature Japanese milk bread, who will be serving up their savoury sandwiches in the CNE Food Building for the first time.

O-Mochi

O-Mochi is debuting with a pop-up inside the CNE Food Building to offer their premium Mochi donuts with an exclusive new CNE flavour that we can’t wait to try out (stay tuned).

Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro

Even fine dining restaurants are getting in on the CNE craze! One of the best-kept secrets in Mississauga for Indian food will bring its elevated modern dishes to the masses.

Other new food vendors at this year’s CNE Food Building include:

  • Lucky Chicken – House of Funky Tenders – Booth #725
  • Farm Fresh Roasted Corn – Booth #226
  • The Super Noodle Company – Booth #415
  • Bombay Spice Street – Booth #204
  • Amazing Sichuan Cuisine – Booth #127
  • Halo Ice Cream/Chilaquiles Mexican Street Food – Booth #326
OUTDOOR MIDWAY & FOOD TRUCK VENDORS

The CNE experience wouldn’t be complete without eating your way outdoors and through the Midway, from the iconic waffle ice cream sandwiches and corn dogs to the viral hits such as Ketchup and Mustard ice cream, and pickle cotton candy.

Always a nucleus of creative inventions, the outdoor food offerings are about to get a whole lot more delicious. New outdoor food stands to seek out this year include:

Greekery Bakeshop & Cafe

Putting new twists on traditional desserts and pastries. Did someone say they were craving a viral Crookie?!

and don’t forget the plethora of Food Trucks along Princes’ Blvd and throughout the grounds including the CNE debut of

Los Vietnamita

This truck is bringing Vietnamese-Mexican fusion to the streets of the CNE this year.

Tut’s Egyptian Street Food

With both sandwiches and bowls, Tut’s makes the perfect snack or lunch when you’re spending a day on the Midway. We can’t wait to see the CNE menu!

RJ’s Roadhouse

RJ’s is the brainchild of two best friends who spent over five years honing their culinary skills at trade shows and they’re finally making a CNE debut! Their menu will be sure to serve up some mouthwatering options.

Fry-R Truck

This is an actual fire truck that’s been converted into a food truck. Find them located near Bandshell Park.

Ribfest is also returning to Bandshell Park with international flavours to try from these new ribbers:
