The star-studded SickKids All-Star Gala is happening on Friday, September 29, at Toronto Event Centre (15 Saskatchewan Rd). Hosted by CTV’s ETALK anchor Tyrone Edwards, the highly anticipated annual event is supporting support Infant congenital heart disease research and care at the Labatt Family Health Centre.
The annual fundraiser, powered by Provincial Smart Home, aims to raise $100,000 this year, bringing the total raised since the first event to over $700,000!
With the theme being NFL, the 2023 fundraising gala promises to bring together a diverse group of guests that include acclaimed celebrities, athletes, sports media, VIPs and young professionals, for an evening of excitement and entertainment.
This 19+ evening will include live music and performances from well known musicians and DJs, a luxurious silent auction with bids starting at 50% of the retail value, a cocktail reception-style open bar, and dancing.
At this year’s Gala, the guest of honour and SickKids patient ambassador is 5-year-old Maxen. Maxen was born with esophageal atresia, a congenital heart defect, and underwent life-saving surgery at SickKids Hospital shortly after birth
Today, Maxen is thriving, and he will be present at the event, where he will be gifted a surprise item that recognizes his journey.
