At every turn, and in every direction, the magical route is overflowing with spectacular light displays and animations.

Located at the U of A Botanical Gardens – Tickets start at $24 adult

Wander candle-lit pathways in the serene Kurimoto Japanese Garden. Sip hot apple cider, while listening to the sounds of the Capella singers.

Zoominescence

Located at the River Valley Zoo – Tickets start at $14.95

Light up the night at the River Valley Zoo! Take in the stunning lights displays, hit the skating rink, or sip some hot chocolate while strolling hand-in-hand with your loved one. This year we celebrate 10 wonderful years of Light, Love, and Animal Conservation. Each weekend is themed with fun characters to meet.

Candy Cane Lane

Located on 148th street from 99th to 92nd avenue.

An Edmonton Classic, running for over 50 years now! Candy Cane Lane is a spectacle to see! Stroll the streets taking in all the gorgeously decorated homes, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride, and don’t forget a donation for the Edmonton Food Bank!

Glow Edmonton

Located at the Edmonton EXPO Centre – Tickets start at $22.99 

Indoor holiday festival complete with towering light gardens, a massive light tunnel that greets you at the door, glowing activities, our artisan market, delicious food, and daily live entertainment.

Borealis Lights

Edmonton’s newest drive-thru lights display! This massive display of lights is located in St. Albert at the  Kinsmen RV Park and will run from now until January 8, 2023.

Performances to Watch

Alberta Ballet – Nutcracker

December 7th to 11th, 2022 – $65+
 
This iconic performance will be in Edmonton for only a short period of time so you will want to get your tickets fast! What’s better than the classic performance of the Nutcracker to get you into the spirit!
 

A Christmas Carol

Located at the Citadel Theatre – 9828 101 A Avenue until DEC 23rd
 
Packed with your favourite classic Christmas tunes, this adaptation of the beloved tale of a miserly old man who is invited to change his ways by the Ghosts of Christmas, will carry you away into the magical era of films like It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street.
