Something big is coming to McDonald’s Canada restaurants nationwide… the Chicken Big Mac!
Now, if you think this has been on the menu in Canada before, you may be one of the MANY McDonald’s fans who have hacked the menu to create this chicken creation inspired by the U.S. and U.K. menu introductions last year.
The long-awaited Chicken Big Mac will be rolling out in Canadian restaurants starting March 7 so you and your date can see what all the excitement is about!
This fresh take on a McDonald’s classic, the Chicken Big Mac is made with chicken lovers in mind. With the classic toppings you know and love including Big Mac sauce, fresh lettuce, processed cheddar cheese, and tangy pickles. It features two chicken patties made with 100% Canadian raised seasoned chicken breast in a crispy, light-tasting coating on a freshly toasted sesame seed bun.
“We know that Canadians have been hacking the Chicken Big Mac in creative ways over the years, eager to get their hands on the real thing” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Canada. “To these guests, we love your passion and your hacking days are officially behind you: the Chicken Big Mac is finally here. But it’s only for a limited time, so try it while you can.”

While we know it’s not going to be on the menu permanently, we don’t exactly how limited its time is and how long it will be available for Canadians to enjoy!
The new Big Mac is available to order in-restaurant, through McDonald’s drive-thrus, or on the McDonald’s app.
